Most of the food available each day is made on site by our talented kitchen team, headed up by our dedicated onsite chef, Dave Goldthorpe.
Dave is responsible for designing our menu and creating many of the items in the modern kitchen facilities. Our coffee shop team is barista trained – no instant coffee in sight at Tickety-Boo.
We have made a steadfast commitment to local suppliers to use products that have been locally grown, raised, made or imported. So our meat comes from local farmers, our salad from a nearby smallholding, and our coffee from Coffee Factory near Axminster. Find out about our local suppliers.
Tickety-Boo is great if you’re after a quick bite to eat, but you can stay as long as you like. If you’re a homeworker and you fancy a change of scene, why not bring your laptop and make use of our charge points and free WiFi?
We also provide a takeaway service so you can enjoy our homemade food on the run. We’re open early each day for that all important wake-up coffee or tea, and you can also grab a tasty sandwich for lunch or a little treat for an afternoon pick-me-up.
We do our best to meet dietary requirements. We offer gluten free cakes and our food is all homemade, so we can easily prepare a sandwich without butter, for example. For any particular allergies or dietary requirements please do call ahead so we can cater to your needs.
Our menu changes daily, so check out what’s on offer. But you’ll find a wide mix of mouth-watering temptations, including…
Sausage rolls and pasties
Cakes and sweet treats
Vegetarian and gluten free options always available, and for other dietary requirements, please call us first so we can accommodate your needs if at all possible.
Our coffee supplier is Coffee Factory, they use 100% Arabica beans, roasting them freshly each week in small batches.
We promise you will taste the difference, we certainly can!
Our ice cream is made in Devon by the team at the award winning Otter Valley.
Their ice cream is made in small batches and based on traditional Italian Gelato, using milk from their own dairy herd.
See the flavours on offer at the dedicated ice cream counter – they’re all yummy.
We all know that a problem shared is a problem halved, and that’s particularly true when it comes to school work.
So, every day from 4 – 5pm we invite students from The Kings School to use Tickety- Boo as a base for a homework club.
Fortify yourself with a freshly made smoothie and a homemade flapjack, discuss your homework questions and help each other out. Use our WiFi to access the internet for any help you need. No cheating, though!
